The Booi’s Poem, By Rick Calvette

Far from the city on a beautiful lake There’s a place for a trip you have to take Booi’s Lodge is the name of the place To relax and fish at a leisurely pace

Your hosts are the best, with a sincere smile They have no problems with the extra mile The people you meet and memories you make Give flavor to the fish that you will take

Prepare for the Northerns, they really fight And a 20 lb trout is quite a sight For thirty plus years I’ve made the drive Again and again as long as I am alive

I raise my mug and offer a toast To those who know how to be a host For those who will listen, I want to say I am proud to have gone the Booi way
